Luke stepped in at short notice and was almost immediately faced with numerous problems and alterations to our original quote. We had constant rain, uncooperative neighbours and other contractors working on the building. Throughout the contract, Luke was constantly in touch with me, adjusting work and times as necessary without complaint. He worked around everyone else and fitted his painting times in to suit other contractors and the conditions on site. New Windsor School is a large inner-city Year 1 - 6 school which sits on the boundary between Lynfield, Avondale and Mt Roskill. Cline Painting Services Limited were awarded the contract to fully paint the exterior of our complex comprising of 14 townhouses bordering Dunedin, New and London Streets in Saint Mary's Bay Auckland. This work was carried out during our winter which created some difficulties due to the weather, however the team managed to overcome this and undertake their work in a professional and friendly manner and in some instances, (went the extra mile) so to speak. As one of the owners I was asked to liaise with the painters and those residents residing on the London Street section and I was happy to do so. Having been fully involved with the painting of the complex some 13 years ago, I was in a position to gauge the quality of workmanship and the manner in which both preparation and application were undertaken.
